Chris Brown Apology Video

Chris Brown apology video has finally made itself available. Hard to believe that it has been six months since the ugly events occurred that would even call for a Chris Brown apology video. Hard to believe that it took six months to pass before such a thing as a Chris Brown apology video even came into being. How unfortunate that a Chris Brown apology video was chosen as a way to make an apology at all.

Why do a Chris Brown apology video at all? Why not make the effort to contact those who were hurt by this fiasco and make the apology genuine. By putting out a Chris Brown apology video it appears more like Mr. Brown is concerned about his own career and not so much about the victims in this case. A Chris Brown apology video seems more about public relations and less about genuine concern or sympathy. With such a large amount of time passing between the event and the apology, it certainly will be hard to be taken seriously.

Perhaps the Chris Brown apology video was chosen because Mr. Brown felt it important that a large number of people witness his remorse. That in and of itself does not seem terribly remorseful. Perhaps his efforts to show remorse would be better served by completing community service work. I'm not referring to the creation of another form of Chris Brown apology video. Specifically, community service work that he commits to on his own volition. That is, giving back to the community and not just specifically because it was ordered by a court of law.

Young fans need to see action from someone like Mr. Brown. They don't need to hear any more words. Talk as we all know, is cheap. A Chris Brown apology video is a far cry from demonstrating to all the young fans how wrong abuse is in any form. A Chris Brown apology video will only get lost along with all the other video consumed by Mr. Brown's young audience. The message of remorse should be delivered in action and not with words.

Perhaps Mr. Brown should seriously consider working with victims of abuse. This will give him a better understanding of the consequences of his actions on those other than himself. Perhaps seeing as he has been privileged to make a living in the entertainment world, he should seriously consider putting on some kind of benefit concert or event to help compensate people who have been harmed under similar situations. Perhaps it is time for Chris Brown to start thinking about some people other than Chris Brown. A Chris Brown apology video is really nothing more than another Chris Brown video. Perhaps it's time for a little more.
