I knew Chris Daughtry was going to make it as soon as I heard and saw him on American Idol. Even though he did not win the American Idol competition, Chris Daughtry's career is taking off as if he did.

"All this excitement comes as DAUGHTRY'S first single explodes into rare, multi-format orbit, vaulting into the Top 20 at the Pop format, Top 25 at Active Rock (achieving most added status again this week), top 15 at AC (becoming the fastest charting record in the Adult contemporary format) and debuting at #37 on the Modern Rock Chart. DAUGHTRY is being embraced by virtually every fan demographic with the album taking over the digital domain, becoming the #1 album on iTunes." (Daughtry Blog)

Daughtry didn't need to win the American Idol competition to rocket his career to stardom, he only needed to be seen and heard. American Idol made sure Daughtry got plenty of that. Fans fell head over heels in love with Daughtry's sexy, rockin' voice, his style, his charisma and his ability to make you feel his songs. Chris' incredible talent has enraptured millions of people across the globe and promises him the kind of success that Elvis Presley achieved.
