Chris Harrison and Melissa Rycroft to Host New Summer Reality Show "The Bachelor Pad"
The Bachelor Pad will have 19 contestants, who will all live in the same house. The contestants will compete against one another in various challenges during the season. While there is much still unknown about the new show, we do know that there will be the regular rose ceremonies that we have all come to know on the original shows.
Chris Harrison, host of the reality TV show The Bachelor and Melissa Rycroft, a past contestant on The Bachelor will be the hosts for The Bachelor Pad. Melissa was a contestant on Season 13 of The Bachelor that ended with a proposal from Jason Mesnick at the end of the show at the final rose ceremony. He then dumped her on national television at the "After the Final Rose" special. Mesnick then went on to ask Molly Malaney, the runner up for a second chance.
Rycroft has zoomed to stardom after the public breakup and has appeared on several television shows as a result. She was a competitor on Dancing With the Stars and filled in as host of the show in the following year after Samantha Harris left the show. She is also a special correspondent for Good Morning America.
While this new series leaves a lot of questions as to the content, one thing is for certain....there will be a lot of action on and off the screen.
