who, instead, wore a crown of thorns
who refused a robe of dawn's velvet
who, instead, chose a tattered wrap
who bore the insults of brutes

CHRIST MY KING

who by thy death gave me life
who by thy suffering gave me relief
who by earthly rejection, gave me acceptance and admitance
into thy true kindom, Heaven.
