Christian Brando Dies of Pneumonia
Age 49
Christian was born on May 11th, 1958 to actor Marlon Brando and actress Anna Kashfi, in Los Angeles, California. Christian was named after Fletcher Christian in Mutiny on the Bounty.
In 1990, he was convicted of manslaughter for the shooting death of his half- sister's boyfriend Dag Droilet. He was released from prison in 1996. In 2001, when Bonnie Lee Bakley, wife of actor Robert Blake, was shot in her car, information had been revealed that Christian had been dating Bonnie. He was never named as a suspect.
Christian Brando married artist Deborah Presley in Las Vegas on October 16th, 2004. On January 10th, 2005 Christian was charged with two counts of spousal abuse. He plead guilty and received a sentence of three years probation and two months of drug and alcohol treatment. Christian and Deborah divorced in 2005.

Post a CommentHi Tink! It's me-Sparkle! It seems to me that Christian lived such a tragic life. I wonder if having a father as famous and strange as Brando, was just too overwhelming, or if he just had his demons that he could never control. So many people are dying of pnuemonia these days. It is one of the things that killed my stepfather, after a successful triple bypass. I used to think that antibiotics would always cure it, but not anymore. I guess there are too many superbug varieties of bacteria.
