Christian Ends Sin Cara's Undefeated Streak; Does This Mean a Christian/Sin Cara Rivalry Will Occur?

The Great One

Tonight on Smackdown, Christian continued to whine to Teddy Long about a title shot at Money In the Bank. Christian's whining resulted in the Smackdown GM making a match Christian vs. Sin Cara. The crowd immediately got excited when they heard this announcement.

The match between Sin Cara and Christian was a great match with plenty of offense from Sin Cara. However, Sin Cara is still adjusting to WWE's style of "wrestling," and it resulted in many near botches. Christian is gifted when it comes to wrestling and he assisted Sin Cara in recovering from the near botches. Nonetheless, Sin Cara performed new maneuvers that had the crowd and (me) quite amazed. In the end, Christian won the match with the "Spear." (This earned Christian a 3-count.) Christian is the first superstar in the WWE to defeat Sin Cara in a match.

Sin Cara made his in-ring debut on April 11, 2011 defeating Primo on Raw. From April 11, 2011 until July 1, 2011 Sin Cara has won every singles and tag team match that he has been involved in. Suddenly, today on July 1, 2011, he loses a match to Christian. This loss to Christian could lead to a program (feud) between Sin Cara and Christian very soon. As much as I admire Christian, the WWE seems like they don't want to put the belt back around Christian. We have to assume that Christian is very close to returning to mid-card status and he could put Sin Cara over big time.

The whole point is this, Christian and Sin Cara may engage in a rivalry very soon. Sin Cara has already defeated Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan and etc. I'm sure that the WWE does not want to leave any loose ends. What I mean is, the WWE wants Sin Cara to look more dominant than Christian. Maybe I'm wrong, but they have invested a lot of money in Sin Cara and a feud with Christian can really boost Sin Cara's popularity big time.
