Christian Point of View of Drugs, Sex and Alcohol

I'm going to be talking about drugs, sex and alcohol. Recently I've noticed that a lot of people look to these things as a way of life, a hobby, entertainment, etc. I meet an old friend the other day and we were talking about relationships and how he's going to break up with his girlfriend which he's had for over a year because he wants to have sex with other people. He continues on to say that he will still even after breaking up with her call her for sex and sex alone. Hook ups he says are a waste of time and we all agreed with him. Then he says its about relationships because a relationship is built off of just sex which you don't have to pay for. His relationship is based off of a very personal emotion that we use when we are in love. Its a private thing its not something you abuse. Is this what life is about sex, about having sex before marriage, about ignoring values in life. This is a sin as well and people seem to forget that. The bible even talks about sex before marriage saying how sinful it is. Lets say your not even a christian, this is still an emotional and personal thing to do. A woman is fragile and should be treated in a gentle like way not in such a selfish way.

We also have drugs, which is something that is completely dumb and should never be defended. Now I know that there is going to be someone reading this going well well well you take Morton don't you thats considered a drug. No lets not be a smart ass and understand drugs are something that you use for a personal high. Bible considers this a witch craft because it makes you become in a almost unaware state of what is going on. A state which people die and kill in. Also have another friend that I talk to once in a while who smokes weed and does E. This is all he does, no job, no real social life other than doing drugs , getting high and drunk. This is life for him, and it does not stop here. When he gets older he says he will do more than what he's doing now. My one friend may end up dead one day because of a personal high and a personal selfishness which doesn't help anyone other than himself. Used to know a guy back when I was just outta high school who did E all the time. He would call me panicking in middle of the nite because he was scared of dying, scared of doing something wrong.

Now we move on to alcohol which is dangerous because people don't know how to drink responsibly. People don't know when to say I'm done I'm going to stop. Getting drunk is the coolest thing bro, its awesome to spend 300$ and get wasted and not remember a thing, its so exciting. NO! Watching sports is exciting, watching someone stand up for what they believe in is exciting. Winning the lottery, that's exciting. Having a guy tell me getting drunk is OK as long as you present yourself in a positive way you can find a good person at a party to date, that's exciting yet so WRONG. Is this what life is about, last time I checked someone who got drunk near my house, literally a quarter mile away hit a traffic light poll killing himself and two others in the car. Is that the exciting part. How bout missing work , throwing up for hours with a hangover....is that the exciting part. People post that on Facebook and MySpace all the time. Getting drunk tonite its so cool and fun. What part again. Going to a party and being drunk will not find you a good girl or a good guy. Going to a party and being drunk, will find you guys like I talked about in the first paragraph. For guys this will find you girls who are incomplete , girls who need to drink and who need to get drunk to be happy because they have no structure. This however isn't saying every guy or girl who drinks is a bad person, in no way is that what I mean. But I do mean that for people who do not drink responsibly. For people who depend on alcohol for a good time.

Im not saying all this to offend people but yet to help you see this is something to stay away from. The bible even tells us that we need to protect our heart. For whatever is in it controls our destiny and our future. You don't want to believe that then that is your mistake but know it is the truth. The way the truth the life. I know people who claim to be christians yet they get drunk , do drugs, having sex before marriage and guess what they are no where. There broke from buying all that alcohol, they cant figure out why things are so scary to them when their on drugs. They also cant find the person the meet just last nite at a party getting drunk with. Can't find them yet there's a condom and yet they know in their heart that there lonely now. How long is it going to take for you reading this as a person to set your life straight and not curvy. Setting your life in a way that makes it to where your not saying to yourself im done with this and im moving on, yet next week its back to square one. What will it take for you to see the truth, to see that the bible is right and we are wrong. When. This isn't a topic to discuss this is me telling you what is out there and what can kill you and what can ruin your life.
