If you were planning on attending the St. James Christian Service Commission book sale that was scheduled for Sept. 19, 2010, you will need to wait. It will be necessary to re-schedule it because of a conflict in the calendar. The re-scheduled date will be announced when it has been determined.
The St. James Christian Service Commission (CSC) is a part of St. James Catholic Church, located at 241 Pearson Ave., in Ferndale. Besides sponsoring the book sale, the CSC also sponsors such events as concerts and dramatic presentations, particularly around Holy Days, such as Easter and Christmas, which are very special to the Catholic church.
