Style Themes
Ruffles and shoulder flounces seemed to dominate the majority of the designs featured in this runway show. The lengths of the various fashions ranged from knee length to floor length with the style of fits being from skin tight to loose and flowing. Jackets and leggings were the rule for the casual, every day look while the evening gowns could be described as either short and sassy to long and lush. The body parts that seemed to be the objects of accentuation were the shoulders and the hips (the same is noted about Mr. Siriano's Spring 2010 collection as well).
Colors Used
Black was one of the colors that seemed to dominate just about every one of the designs. Brown, khaki, and nude were also present. Metallics and even a lovely teal were used as well and added a nice touch to the runway show.
Prints
Black, gold, variations of brown, and teal solids were the overriding theme on the runway. However, some designs with a combination of black and metallics were also present.
Accessories Used
Super high heels and attractive booties that tastefully matched the designs that they accented were featured. Big and black are the words to describe the handbags that were presented. Gold jewelry and gold braided bangs were the rule, and most of the models were wearing stylish hats that matched their attire perfectly.

My Favorite Look from Christian Siriano's Runway Show
I particularly like the jackets paired with the black leggings as well as the use of the colors of black and teal. I love the big, oversized, black handbag, the gold jewelry, and the ankle booties in the various colors.
Ways to Implement This Favorite Look In My Fall Fashion Wardrobe
Payless Shoe Source offers several wonderful shoes designed by Christian Siriano, and I would love to add a few of these to my wardrobe: the teal satin saunter flat for $29.99 and the brown patent saunter flat for $29.99. Old Navy has a gorgeous oversized, fringed, black velveteen hobo bag on sale for $25.00, so I could afford the big, black oversized bag look.
Belk features theSophie Max Cotton Tubular Full Length Legging for $28.00 in the color black, and Gap provides a gorgeous selection of cashmere blend shawl cardigans for $59.50 - I would choose the black heather one. For just the right gold earrings to go along with my ensemble, I would purchase the Victoria Chrysoprase Briolette Earrings of Mint Grasshopper Green on 14 K Goldfilled Lever Backs from Hampton Jewels on www.etsy.com.
These items enable you to get some of the looks from Christian Siriano's runway show without having to put a dent in your wallet. Have fun, and enjoy all the great styles this fall.
