Christians: Fact or Fantasy?

Is a Christian Really Just a Robot?

Leah Harris
Well, that solves it.
I believe
Whatever it is you say.
When life just sucks
And you say, "He saves"
Well, I'll just scream, "Hurray!"

I'll put my pity party down
And skip away with glee.
And oh my goodness I'll just thank
The GOOD LORD you saved me.

Because I believe all that you say
Even the weirdest things.
I have no mind to think a thought
Or whatever that may bring.

Just call me the robot
At your service.
Master tell me how
To do the things that bring success.
I want to have it now.

So should I pick the BIBLE up and
See what it might say?
I may even find a VERSE or two
Then I'd probably PRAY.

Should it come true
Or be the TRUTH
That I've been seeking until now,
I'll walk away thinking it was wrong
Someway, sometime and somehow.

Just ignoring the wise decisions made
By men before my time,
I will pretend it made no sense,
no reason or no rhyme.

This way I won't be accused
Of being obedient
To a GOD that's all powerful,
And truly 'HEAVEN-SENT.'

My peers and men around me
Can look at me with AWE
Because I have my own common sense
To see to it that I fall.

They can 'ooh' and admire
While I just walk about
In circles twisting and winding,
A goal in life without.

So what if I find purpose
In this cold and lonely world...
Something to sink my LIFE into...
A love life to unfurl?

It was with LOVE that I found you
And it got you oh so bent...
That a love would shine right through me...
A love that's 'HEAVEN-SENT'.
