Christina Aguilera and Boyfriend Arrested for Public Intoxication March 1 (Links)

According to a report by TMZ, Christina Aguilera and boyfriend Matthew Rutler were arrested early this morning (March 1) in West Hollywood. Allegedly, Rutler was driving while under the influence, and Aguilera was "extremely intoxicated" as a passenger inside his car.

Bail was set at $30,000 for Rutler and at this point, Aguilera's reps have not officially commented.

This news about Aguilera is disturbing based on earlier reports in January that she had passed out in Jeremy Renner's bed during his 40^th birthday party.

Us Weekly stated that Rutler was there as well and was reported to have given Aguilera a massage.

Renner told others at a Golden Globes after party, "Someone comes and tells me she's in my room. I run up and open the door and I'm like, 'Um, hi. What are you doing?' She just starts slurring. Her boyfriend was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone's birthday party that they don't know and gets in their bed?! My parents were there!"

Christina has seen her share of troubles lately with filing for divorce from husband, Jordan Bratman, having words with Burlesque co-star Julianne Hough during a Golden Globes party, and flubbing the lines of the National Anthem on Super Bowl Sunday (February 6).
