Christina Aguilera and Possible New Boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, Detained by Police for Being Drunk: Ex-Husband, Jordan Bratman, is Probably Sitting Somewhere ROFL

Christina Aguilera was stopped by police and detained by police for her own safety. She was riding in the car with what may be her current man. Well, she may want to re-think her man selection because dude was driving crazily at 2:45 a.m. in West Hollywood when the police pulled him over for driving erratically. The driver of the car was Matthew Rutler and it was determined that he was, in fact, driving drunk and under the influence. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Christina Aguilera was also drunk and "incapable of taking care of herself", although she was completely cooperative with police and went with the flow.

According to authorities, since she was not the driver of the car and was a passenger, she was held on a technicality and this is standard practice in this type of situation. She will not be charged with any criminal activity and was only taken into police custody to save her from her own stupidity in that she was too danged drunk to figure out that it's not a good idea to be a passenger in a vehicle driven by a legally drunk person. Hey, she has enough money to have hired a driver or called for a car. That's just foolish and risky. I guess in her drunken state, she forgot that she's a mommy now and should try to remain in a minimum of one peice for the sake of her child.

Christina Aguilera was released a few hows later when she was able to pass a sobriety test. The bail for the driver of the car was set at $5,000 and he was bailed out of jail shortly after the incident.

Hmm, Christina...slow your roll, girlie! You don't want to ride the Lindsay Lohan train to Loserville, do you? I'll forgive you for bolloxing up the national anthem and singing "the rockets last reaming" and falling over your own feet on national television, but be careful who you get in the car with. I have two words for you....car service!!!!!
