Christina Applegate Pregnant: New Baby by Spring 2011 for Applegate and Fiance, Martyn Lenoble

Actress Christina Applegate is pregnant, according to People Magazine! The joyful news that Christina Applegate is pregnant comes after several difficult years for the actress and her fiance, Dutch bass player, Martyn Lenoble. Christina Applegate battled breast cancer, and underwent a painful double-mastectomy in 2008. Both breasts were removed, though only one was reported to have been actually invaded by the cancer cells.

Now, however, a it's all good news for Applegate! With a wedding to plan and a brand new baby on the way, Christina Applegate has a lot to look forward to over the next year.

The 'Christina Applegate is pregnant' announcement came from People Magazine's web site Wednesday, which says a rep for the actress told them about the exciting news. Christina Applegate and Martyn Lenoble have been engaged for about 5 months, after a Valentine's Day proposal and two years of dating, People says.

If Christina Applegate is pregnant now, the popular television actress will be just a few months away from turning 40 years-old when she delivers her first child. Because of her slightly-accelerated age and the fact that Applegate is an ardent vegetarian, Applegate will have to work together with her doctor very closely to develop a healthy living and eating plan for her new pregnant body and unborn baby.

With proper care and vitamins, especially lots of folic acid, Christina Applegate's pregnancy should be fairly normal unless her doctor finds anything of concern. Thankfully, Applegate reportedly has been cancer-free since her surgery in 2008.

Christina Applegate and Martyn Lenoble haven't yet announced how far along Christina is. However, by doing simple math, it seems their little family will be complete by late Spring 2011. Congratulations are most certainly in order for the happy couple, both for their impending nuptials and on their soon-to-arrive bundle of joy!
