Christmas Activities in Dayton, Ohio #1

Downtown Dayton will host the 37th Dayton Holiday Festival this year from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on November 27th at Courthouse Square on Main Street. This annual event will include the Grande Illumination of the Christmas tree and the Children's Parade Spectacular in Lights. There will be carnival rides, and the Holiday Village in the Kettering Tower, live musical entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides and the opening of The Tike's Shop. immediately follow

Christmas Activities in Dayton, Ohio #2

At The Greene in Beavercreek, OH just off I-675 the 4th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony and the Santa Arrival Parade will take place on November 20th. This is the fourth year for this fun-filled Christmas activity that is always free to the families. Christmas activities begin at about 5:45 p.m. but get there early for a good spot to see Santa. There will also be music and dance, holiday carolers, and of course the lighting of the 50-foot tall Holiday tree in the Town Square. For a fee you can also have your pictures taken with Santa and have a carriage ride. Call 937-490-4900 if you need more information on this Christmas activity.

Christmas Activities in Dayton, Ohio #3

The Mall at Fairfield Commons in holding its annual occasion The Magical Night of Giving from 4 to 8 p.m. on November 22nd. You must have tickets to be able to join the Christmas activities at the mall. Lots of local organizations are asking for a small donation of $5 per ticket from the general public and 100% of the ticket price stays with the charity. There will very special savings all throughout the mall on this evening and prizes will given away. There is lots of holiday entertainment and family fun, along with special savings on this night.

Just south of Dayton is the town of Springboro and each they host the Christmas in Historic Springboro. This year's dates are November 20th to the 22nd and this is an ol-fashioned Christmas festival that Norman Rockwell would love. Located right on Main Street at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th will be the tree lighting ceremony. Then spend the weekend with caroling, candlelight walks, lots of shopping, great food and entertainment.

Historic Centerville will hold it's free Hometown Holiday Walk from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m;. on November 22nd. The walk will start near the corner of Main Street and Franklin. The at 5:30 p.m. at Benham's Corner they will perform the annual lighting of the Chritmas tree. If you need more information call 937-433-7151.

Additional Christmas activities in Dayton, Ohio include the Huber Heights tree-lighting and caroling on November 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the Huber Centre. There is also the annual Mayor's Christmas www.ketteringoh.org tree lighting event in Kettering from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December the 4th. And the Holidays at Polen Farm will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 5th and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 5099 Bigger Road, Kettering.
