A Poem for Christmas Day

carol stanley

Christmas is upon us only once a year-and people are expected to feel good cheer.

The country is in chaos it does seem true, and the people in power may have not a clue.

Time to count all your blessings, both large and small-- raise your shoulders high and stand up very tall.

Look at all you have and take stock of who you are--and give to others less fortunate to whom you'll be a star.

If life seems unfair this year for whatever your woes may be. Look outside at the beautiful world-- a say a prayer of glee.

Decorate your home, bake some cookies and cake and invite neighbors in to share and also to partake.

Put a smile on your face no matter what has been,

and you may find that your outside glow will follow far within.

    Hi Carol,

A very nice poem and something we all need this time of year.

I'm also wishing you a very Merry Christmas, for you and your family.
