Christmas Baby - Poetry

Christmas Holiday Feasts of Celebration!

Rue Cooper
" Christmas Baby "

the chilling wind spits snow

and sheets on clotheslines dance and blow

sun peeks out

from winter's sky

to spy

happy holidays are near

where families feast with all those dear

from tables stacked and piled

and all to celebrate a child

born long ago

in a stable's candle glow

so an evil ruler wouldn't know

a Baby Boy who frightened kings

and brought down Angels flapping wings

a little Boy who grew to man

and walked the roads made out of sand

and when He left

He left behind

an imprint stamped in human mind

a love for all mankind
