Christmas in Candyland - a Poetic Claim for a Favorite Game
Here's One Way to Slow Down and Enjoy One Another During the Busy Holiday Season
It's Christmastime; let's have some fun,
As everyone is on the run.
We bake and shop and wrap and more,
And rush from store to store to store.
We need a quiet evening in,
But we're not sure where to begin.
Let's make a fire and pop some corn
And play a game that's been well-worn.
Come walk with me in Lollipop Wood,
Hit Gumdrop Pass for something good.
Then toss a kiss to Grandma Nutt,
And Mr. Mint in his red striped hut.
Look out for Gloppy and Queen Frostine,
As we help King Kandy to make the scene.
Please, won't you play a game with me,
It doesn't add one calorie!
It's Christmastime; let's have some fun,
As everyone is on the run.
I'll grab the box; you sit right here,
And we'll enjoy some Christmas cheer.
