Christmas Card Verses - All Purposes

Say it in a Card

Lee Davis
Except for my first verse, the remainder are all original.

1. My first verse is one I have borrowed from my childhood. As a little girl, I said this little verse at my first Christmas church play at age three, four, five, six and seven. You might say that I outgrew the part.

Christmas Is Coming

Christmas is coming
And the turkey's getting fat.
Want you please drop a nickel
In the old man's hat.

If you haven't got a nickel
Then a penny will do.
If you haven't got a penny
Then God Bless You.

2. Snowman and Me

Snowman, Snowman
Come outside with me
Snowman, Snowman
Let's go look and see.

If you cannot have a "white Christmas"
Have a Merry Christmas.

3. Blessings

Blessing to you in all things
And may the peace of the season bring joy.

Give Praise for HE Is Born

4. Funny Teen Wish

All I want for Christmas is a date with you.
I can hardly believe this is coming true.
Merry Christmas to us, guess we are a thing
Maybe not a good idea, I didn't buy you anything.

Merry Christmas and let's get back together after the holidays.

5. Grandma/Grandpa - Mimi/Papa - Nana/Poppy - Memaw and Papaw

Grandma and Grandpa I'm coming to see you.
I know you will be happy to see me too.
Many presents under the tree
Some are for you but most are for me.

Merry Christmas and Lots of Love

6. Beautiful Holidays

Beautiful paper full of ribbons
Beautiful boxes full of color
Beautiful tree full of trim
Beautiful friendships to share forever
Beautiful lights that brightly twinkle
Beautiful candles that bow and glow
Beautiful families gathering closely
Beautiful love to nurture and cherish.

Love to all

7. Friends

From my surfboard to your bobsled

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

8. Spiritual

The Reason for the Season

Take it with you throughout the year.

9. Spiritual

Be silent and listen to the angels sing
Goodwill, peace and love they bring.

10. Everyone

Wishing for all the best of holidays
Peace throughout the year.

Season Greetings
