Christmas - Celebs Who Are Likely Ready for This Year to Be Over

2011 was a great year for many people - including myself - but certain celebrities did not fare so well. A few celebrities in particular had a rather either tumultuous year or just a year in which they faded. These celebs are probably already getting their New Year's resolutions in order and hoping that the rest of 2011 flies by so that they can sense that fresh start of a new year.

Charlie Sheen

Winning? Not so much. He pretty much fell from whatever grace he was still perched upon in 2011. He lost his coveted spot on hit television show 'Two and a Half Men' to Ashton Kutcher, had a very public exchange of not-so-nice words with the director and took to Twitter to try and start a live comedy career. In the end it seems that Sheen is simply failing.

Demi Moore

It seems that Ashton Kutcher has played a role in the chaos of many celebrities lives this year. While Moore's year wasn't too bad, her split from hubby Ashton Kutcher could not have been a great ending to 2011. They dated for years and then were married for what seems like forever by Hollywood standards. While Moore filed for the divorce, the situation surrounding it certainly had to take a toll on her heart.

Lindsay Lohan

Need I say more? Jail, constant negative tabloid press, her teeth and just her worn-down looks in general are enough to cause her to have an awful year. The fact that this woman still shows her face in public is a miracle. Most people seem to want to see Lohan recover from whatever demons are haunting her and hopefully 2012 will be the year. Also, hopefully, her parents will just stay out of it, especially her father who seems to bring far more drama than support. She will end this year with her already leaked Playboy spread and hopefully begin next year with a promising outlook on life.

Miley Cyrus

Much to the happiness of people everywhere, Miley has pretty much fallen out of the spotlight. For someone who has been working and thirsting for fame since 12 years of age, this cannot be an easy pill to swallow. After her acting out, salvia and desire to wear as little clothing as possible, perhaps a break was just what the doctor ordered. If Cyrus decides to emerge again in 2012, hopefully she will not do anything to break her fan's or her dad's achy breaky hearts.
