Christmas Cheer and Help Those in Need

Christmas Comes Around Once a Year. Those in Need Do Not Rejoice. Help Those by Dropping Off Food in Supermarkets and Many Local Stores

Sondra C
Most major Supermarkets have a bin or a box to collect food for those in need. Many give out large bags filled with food and ask that you pay for the bag.

Food for most of us is taken for granted every day and especially for Christmas and Thanksgiving. The poor do not have the luxury of sitting down to a freshly baked ham with their family.

Children in need go to bed hungry every night and the holidays are no different. Santa seems to miss their home when he is out dropping off food.

Be a Santa's helper this year. Set aside money to send to the poor and needy. Make sure that you help others to buy a few gifts so their children can wake up on Christmas morning with a smile of anticipation.

Think of other as you would have them think of you 'if' you were in their shoes. Fill the bins with food so the Salvation Army and other food kitchens feed those in need.

The economy is bad this year. It is worse than before. Those who lost their jobs have become the needy. At one time they were in the middle class group but no more. The economy has just about eliminated the Middle Class. Now there are either the rich or poor.

Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. For others it is a time to get and give Christmas gifts to family and friends. Give with your heart so that others, less fortunate than you, can go to sleep with a smile. Think not only of the little ones.! Their parents have needs as well.

Giving is a Blessing. Make sure you get Blessed this year by giving others a reason to feel blessed as well, instead of feeling left out.
