Debi has just a few free original counted cross-stitch designs of trees, wreaths, hearts, and candles, complete with instructions and DMC thread color suggestions, in both color and symbols.

Bev's Country Cottage offers patterns as well as suggestions for DMC thread colors. Some of her links are off-site, to other websites that offer free Christmas cross-stitch patterns, including basic tiny patterns from Free Patterns Online.

There are twenty different Christmas angels provided free by Told in a Garden. Download these neat cross-stitch patterns in either PDF, GIF, or TIFF file formats. These are some of the most complex free patterns available online.

Paid Christmas Cross-stitch Patterns

Check out crosstitch.com, where you don't have to buy individual patterns. Joining the site for one year ($12, no automatic renewal) gives to access to not only their fifty-three Christmas patterns, but the rest of the site as well. You can also download just three patterns for $6 (a one-month trial membership). I especially am in awe of their snowflake patterns.

Patterns Online has a whopping 552 Christmas cross-stitch patterns, with prices ranging from $2 to $12 per pattern, most $3-$5. You will definitely find something that you like here.

Kooler Design Studio has both charts and kits for stockings ($12-$30), stuffed nativity figures ($8 each), and more. Their selection of Christmas cross-stitch patterns is overwhelming - a must-see!
