It's time for another Tender Nashville Tennessee Christmas as Middle Tennessee looks forward to Christmas Eve, 2008. Nashville, Tennessee, is home to hundreds of churches, so since Christmas falls on Wednesday night, a night many churches have regular weekly services, there are Christmas Even services all over town. And since Nashville is home to country, rock and gospel artists as well as tons of top session musicians, even the smallest churches usually have talents that are top-notch. I have personally visited almost every church listed here, and can vouch first-hand for the quality of their services.

First Baptist Nashville located in downtown Nashville at 108 Seventh Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203, is hosting Communion on Christmas Eve -- two Christmas Eve services at 5 and 8 P.M. The 5:00 P.M. service features a dramatic retelling of the Nativity led by children. At 8:00 P.M. the church will host an intimate event in the church foyer featuring acoustic worship, candles, and scripture readings. Belmont Church on Nashville's Music Row is holding a Traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Grand Avenue in Nashville. There is parking in two very small lots behind the church and beside the church and a larger lot across the street. Belmont has been home to many of the top artists in gospel and country music, and you never know who will sing a song or play the piano at a Belmont event. Call 615-256-2123 for details.

There will be a Christmas Eve Candlelight Lord's Supper Worship Service at Bellevue Baptist Church, 7400 Highway 70 South in the Bellevue/Nashville area. Church parking is free.
