Christmas events in Atlanta - The Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes will take place from November 19th thru December 6 at the Fox Theatre on 600 W Peachtree Street in Atlanta. In addition to famous Radio City Rockets with their faultless and entertaining dance numbers, this magnificent show features The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, the Living Nativity, dancing bears and Santas, a huge screen for special effects and more. Christmas events in Atlanta - Stone Mountain Christmas
Stone Mountain Christmas is a celebration at Stone Mountain Park taking place throughout the month of December. In addition to the park's usual attractions, there will be lighted Christmas displays throughout the park, a special Christmas Lasershow, Christmas fireworks, live Christmas shows, Christmas parades, Santa Claus visits, Christmas carolers and special showings of The Polar Express 4D Experience. Stone Mountain Christmas in one of the traditional Christmas events in Atlanta. Stone Mountain Park is open daily from 6:00 am to 12 midnight.
Christmas events in Atlanta - The North Atlanta Christmas Festival
The North Atlanta Christmas Festival will be held at the Mount Pisgah Church's North Campus located at 2850 Alabama Road in John Creek, right outside of Atlanta. This musical festival includes the 150 member Mount Pisgah Worship Choir, a 40 member orchestra, the Georgia Tech Drum Corp and special effects. Performances are scheduled for December 11th through December 13th at 7:00 pm, with an additional performance on the 13th at 3:00 pm. Tickets prices are between $5 and $10 and are available online on the North Atlanta Christmas Festival website.
Christmas events in Atlanta - Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier Islands
Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier Islands is a seven and a half mile driving tour featuring holiday lighting displays with animated Christmas characters. Displays include The Twelve Days of Christmas, Santa's Elves at Work, the North Pole Express and many more. Located at Lake Lanier Islands Resort, about forty miles north of Atlanta, the driving tour will be available to the public from November 21st to December 30 nightly from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The cost for passenger cars is $40 during Monday through Thursdays and $60 for Friday through Sunday.

We have some Radio City Rockettes show in town, the oddest thing is that they have camels for one of the nativity scenes. It was more than a little strange to see their handlers walking them around the downtown area lol
