Are you ready to play some Christmas games? Is it about that time that everyone gets into the holiday spirit and lets loose of all the worries that the year has brought. If you agree, then let's get started on some ideas for Christmas games for everyone to enjoy.

Jingle Bells All The Way. I have to admit that this is a great game that will get anyone in the holiday spirit. Buy about 60 bells from your local craft store. Divide your guests into two teams, make sure that it is as even as possible. Plan out a course, either inside of your house or outside. Outside is always best, however if weather does not permit, inside works just as well. Basically it is a relay race, two people, one from each team is handed 30 jingle bells. They each have to run the course without dropping any bells. If they drop them, they must pick them up before they hand them off to the next set of people. First team to have all the players run the course with all the jingle bells still in their hands win! Great way to start any holiday party.

Name That Christmas Tune. Everyone loves a good guessing game. Christmas songs are definitely songs where the tune might sound a bit like one another, this of course makes it even better. Gather up your family and friends. Divide people into groups of five, that way everyone has a chance to guess what song it is. Play just a few seconds of a Christmas song, pick a team to name it. If they win they get a point. First team to get 10 right answers gets a special gift!

Create a Christmas Song. You can have a lot of fun with this Christmas game. Some people will come up with the funniest songs you have ever heard. Give each person a piece of paper and a pencil. There will be a lot of erasing going on. Have them create their own version of an already made Christmas song, or a have them create one of their own. After everyone has finished, have each person sing their creation and let the laughing begin!

Create a Funny Christmas Story. You could say this is something like the game "Round Robin", instead we are going to make up a funny Christmas story. Get everyone in a circle all nice and comfortable. Since you are the host, you have to start the Christmas story. Each person must add a new sentence when they are called. Easiest way to keep track is to write each sentence as it is said. That way by the time you get around full circle, you can read off the entire story and enjoy everyone's masterpiece of laughter.

Christmas Charades. Everyone loves to play charades, why not at Christmas time too. Gather everyone together, and have them each place one piece with something that references Christmas. Place the papers in the hat and begin to let people grab their piece of paper. Each person must try to act out what is on the paper without making a sound. Beware, this game can go on for hours, depending on how many people you have.

If you could not think of any Christmas games to play, now you have five, great ones to choose from. Christmas is all about enjoying each other during the holidays, enjoy one another by playing these wonderful Christmas games you can enjoy every holiday year.
