Christmas Gift Craft from Children:DLTK's Santa Claus Hand-print Craft

Making a Santa Claus hand-print craft from the DLTK's website will keep those memories of your child's hand-print during Christmas. Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa would love to receive this Christmas gift craft for Christmas. You will need white paint, red paint, black and red marker, thick card stock paper, ribbon, scissors and a hole punch. This craft is very simple. First, you will want to get your paint ready. A simple way to do this is to get a paper plate and put a little red on one part of the plate and white on another. You will also want to mix white with a little red to make a pink color for Santa's face. After you have your paint ready, paint your child's tip of the thumb with white paint. Next, paint the ball of the hand and the rest of the thumb with red paint. Use the pink to paint your child's palm and then white on the rest of the fingers. After the paint is all of your child's hand, place your child's hand on the card stock or construction paper. After it dries, use the markers to make a face for Santa (eyes, nose, and mouth). Cut a circle or whatever shape your desire around the Santa Claus and punch a hole in the top and put your ribbon through the hole and tie it so that the person receiving the Christmas gift craft from your child can hang it on the tree. You can see a picture of this craft on the DLTK's website.
