Christmas Gift Ideas for Tween Girls Who Are Twilight Fans

Top Gifts for Pre-Teen Girls Who Love Twilight

If Edward, Bella, Rosalie and Jacob are household names, or if your pre-teen daughter has started wanting to wear vampire shirts everywhere she goes, then you have been touched by the Twilight obsession. With Christmas right around the corner, here is a list of Twilight gifts for your obsessed tween.

1. Clothing - T-shirts, jackets, hoodies and more are now available with the Twilight bunch on the front. However, they can come at a high price. At a recent shopping trip with my tween to Hot Topic, I found that a t-shirt was $28 and hoodie was $48. As an alternative, you can get many themed items for Twilight without the high price of licensed merchandise. "Team Edward" and "Forget Princess, I Want to Be a Vampire" t-shirts are readily available at dozens of online t-shirt shops. There you will find an endless variety of options in t-shirt designs.

2. DVDs and Soundtracks - Many of the tweens in your life will already own the Twilight DVD. Why not add the Twilight or New Moon Audio CDs to their collection or a Robert Pattinson (he's Edward) DVD. Electronic gifts are a favorite among this age group, so most girls would be thrilled for these gifts.

3. Posters - Twilight posters are an inexpensive favorite for most tweens. These are available at bookstores and just about every big box retailer. Just ask where the posters are located. If you want to take posters to the next level, you can order a six-foot cardboard stand up of Edward on eBay. This will be the envy of all of your tween's friends.

4. Jewelry - Whether you want Rosalie's necklace, Bella's engagement ring or something in between, Twilight jewelry has become very popular this year. Licensed jewelry is readily available; however, I have seen many very nice jewelry items created by Twilight fans on eBay recently. These handmade items would truly make a unique gift.

5. Companion Books - Of course your tween has read the series but the Twilight book selection does not stop there. You can order the New Moon Illustrated Movie Companion, a Robert Pattinson biography or even a Twilight calendar for your tween's wall.

6. Action Figures and Games - Bella and Edward can now be found in retailers as action figures. These are usually found with other Twilight merchandise or by the Barbie dolls. If your tween prefers board games, try the Twilight board game, the New Moon board game or the Scene It game. These games will provide hours of entertainment for your tween and her friends.

New Twilight items are popping up every day. Look around at your tween's favorite stores and see what you find. But most of all, be creative!
