People; everywhere, seem to have a holiday glow about them in the holiday season.
Holiday Season
Businesses put up Christmas lights, decorate the streets, and their places of business to add to the festiveness and joy of the holiday season. The attitudes of people in the holiday season just seem to be a bit more tolerant than any other time of year.
The Feeling Of The Holiday Season
People decorate their houses and put up Christmas trees to add to the feeling of joy during the holiday season.
Family
Christmas is about family.
Celebrate Our Togetherness
Christmas is the time of year that we celebrate our togetherness. We can put aside our differences for a little while and just enjoy each other's company. We laugh and smile with each other as we share in the joy of the holiday season and exchange gifts with each other to show that we care. This is a way of saying that even though we're different, that we appreciate and value each other as people, individuals and human beings.
Giving
For some, Christmas is about getting presents and trying to guess what's inside the beautifully wrapped packages. For others, Christmas is about giving and seeing the smiles on people's faces; when they finally get what they have wanted for so long. Or when they get something that will be useful in their life that they didn't have before.
