Twinkling lights make the streets all aglow,

Hopeful faces watch for snow...

Cinnamon and nutmeg fill the air,

While children are laughing and learning to share...

The season grows warmer even though there's a chill,

Great magic appears to all who has will...

The days seem much shorter but the wait is long,

For that special day when Santa Claus comes...

Youngsters smile at colorful trees,

Amazement grows into overwhelming glee...

Musical melodies dance through the house,

While presents of love are passed all around...

Family is together and spirits are high,

While heavenly flakes fall from the sky...

Bright hopes for the future are finally here,

Thanks to the merriest time of the year...
