Christmas, Inc., a family comedy, screens at San Jose's Montgomery Theatre on December 19th.

This heart warming film is about Santa Claus finding himself in a dilemma. With Christmas quickly approaching, he faces the fact that the North Pole is melting.

Its existence depends on children's faith in Santa Claus and they are losing faith in him with each passing day. He and his friends scramble to find ways to recapture the holiday spirit.

"This film targets the whole family," said Fernando Rovzar, writer and director of Christmas, Inc. "It relates to children because it's about the innocence of Christmas."

Among the story's themes, the focus is on being blinded by material excesses. Rovzar wrote the film to reignite the playfulness and innocence of the holiday.

"There is a mix of themes that the whole family will enjoy." Audiences will walk away with new perspectives for the season, "it touches on family, faith and even global warming."

This is Rovzar's directorial debut, presented by Lemon Films in association with Warner Brothers. The film stars Alejandra Ambrosi, Pedro Armendáriz Jr., Héctor Jiménez, and Verónica Merchant. It's shot in Spanish with English subtitles.

Cine+Mas in collaboration with Cine Latino present this one time event in San Jose, "It's a small token of appreciation to our San Jose audience," says Lou Ramirez of Cine+Mas.

This free showing of Christmas, Inc. is open to the public at the Montgomery Theatre in San Jose, California Saturday, December 19th at 3 PM.
