Christmas Ornament Wizard: Tree Measuring, Decorating Made Easy

Paula Myers
Are you buying Christmas Ornaments for the first time? Or do you just want to know how many you need for your Christmas tree? I found a cool feature on a website called, Christmas Ornament Wizard, that will tell you exactly how many ornaments you need for your Christmas tree. You key in your tree height in feet and your tree base in width. You hit the Calculate button and it tells you the number of ornaments needed. For example, if your tree is 7.5 feet tall and 4 feet wide, you will need 171 ornaments. If your tree is 12 feet tall and 6.5 feet wide, you will need 444 ornaments. The Christmas Ornament Wizard is really cool. I played around with it for a while.

Go to www.santasquartersno.com/christmas-ornament-calculator.html and key in your Christmas tree dimensions.

The Santa's Quarters website is pretty interesting. The company is located in New Orleans and has been family owned and operated for 30 years. The website sells all kinds of Christmas decorations. Here is a list of what they have.

Artificial Christmas Trees
One of the trees that I thought was neat was the Ultra Realistic Artificial Christmas Tree. Santa's Quarters carries several different species of this tree. They include: Grand Teton, Frasier Fir, Hunter, Sitka Spruce Half Tree, Tyrolean Fir, Deodora Cedar, Baby Blue Pine, Mixed Cedar, Anabell, Grand Duchess, Northern Frasier, Aspen Pine, Blue Creek Fir, Blue Montana Pine, Skyline Tree, and Black Hills Spruce. The trees look very real. The 7.5 foot Hunter Christmas Tree with clear white lights is on sale for $387.00. The 7.5 foot Northern Frasier with medium clear lights is on sale for $305.00.

Commercial Christmas Decorations
Santa's Quarters carry giant artificial Christmas trees up to 100 feet tall. These trees are seen at places such as Disney World and the Rockefeller Center. They also carry Commercial Christmas ornaments and lights. The giant Christmas ornaments range in size from 17 to 63 inches and the large range from 7 to 16 inches. The giant Artificial Wreaths are up to 12 feet in diameter. Santa's Quarters also carry Commercial bows and giant Christmas figures such as Santa, Snowmen, Nutcracker, and deer up to 6 foot tall.

Outdoor Christmas Decorations
Besides the giant Christmas figures, Santa's Quarters also has Mickey Mouse and Peanuts Christmas decorations, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Traditional Yard Art, Christmas bows, Winnie the Pooh and Grinch Christmas decorations, Tinker Bell, and Disney Princess Christmas decorations.

Christmas Wreaths
Santa's Quarters has four categories of wreaths to choose from.

Christmas Garlands
Santa's Quarters has two categories of wreaths to choose from.

Christmas Lights
There are six categories of lights to choose from at Santa's Quarters. I thought the LED lights were neat. LED lights uses 90 % less electricity than traditional mini lights. You can buy a C7 LED Multi 300 Lights Set for $287.00. That is really expensive for lights.

Christmas Ornaments
Santa's Quarters has three categories of ornaments: Commercial, Residential, and Ornamotors. They sell a 24 piece battery operated Ornamotor II set for $99.99.

I think that Santa's Quarters is a really cool website. I don't know about buying anything there, but I will use the Christmas Ornament Wizard for sure.
