Christmas Poems

Two Christmas Poems to Kick-Start Your Holiday Spirit

Christmas Lights

Come Christmastime the houses are bright,

from doorstep to chimney they're covered with lights,

With reindeers on rooftops it is quite a sight,

While inside the house a candle burns bright.

I sneak down the stairs on this sleepless night,

Making sure that my steps are light,

Next to the tree with all of my might,

I wish this Christmas to be white.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve I just can't wait,

It's snowing out and the tree looks great,

The presents sit under the tree,

I wonder if they're all for me!

Secretly I sneak to the tree,

I crawl underneath but my Mom sees me,

She says "not now, get some sleep, it's late"

On Christmas Eve, I just can't wait.

Thanks this poem is very good I like the way to have split it into two stanzas.
