1). Cologne
It doesn't have to be a 50 dollar bottle of Vercache or Calvin Klein. Price does not always determine fragrance or value. Take Tom Tailor Cologne for men for instance. This cologne delivers a long lasting scent that isn't too harsh on the nostrils and its price, usually at around $23.00, is affordable for most budget conscious shoppers
2). Khakis
Every guy could use a nice pair of pants, no matter who they are or what they do. Even if the man you have in mind isn't a fan of the dress-up part of life, he'll still have to go to work after Christmas, so this gift may be better than a gift basket or other short-term perishable present that won't be used for months or years later. Khakis or other dress pants are also affordable and one pair won't usually run for over $25. Sometimes, if you catch a good sale, two pairs can be bought for the price of one. Just make sure you determine the right waist and length size though before the purchase or else the Christmas present you had in mind will become more like a burden than a gift.
3). Wallet
Even the nicest wallets on the market don't cost a hand and foot, and chances are your dad, husband, boyfriend or roommate will use it for years and years. A wallet doesn't have to be fancy with all sorts of slots, but leather is almost a necessity for most men. Avoid the Velcro wallets bound with fabrics. Opening them up sounds obnoxious and most guys find them silly or the antithesis of masculinity.
4). Gift Card
Gift cards can never be wrong. It doesn't matter what store or retailer you buy them from, $25 free dollars is perfect for any man. Restaurants or food retailers are especially indispensable to your average working Joe. For a Christmas present, it may be a good idea to prove that there is such a thing as a free lunch.
5). Magazine Subscription
Find out what makes your Christmas present recipient tick. Is he a handy-man kind of guy or more into literature? Is he a football fan or a tennis junkie? Chances are you won't have to ask. Buy a subscription to a magazine that fits his interest for a year or two. Typically magazine subscriptions are between $10-25 dollars for 6-months to a year so you won't have to spend a fortune, also, a magazine subscription is the gift that keeps on giving every month in the mail.
6). Sexy Clothes
This is for you girls out there. Consider buying something for yourself that your spouse or boyfriend will like. It will surprise him to see you wearing that lingerie he likes so much along with some other Victoria Secrets. For a lot of guys, there could be no other Christmas present. The best part about this gift is you girls can get something for yourself too, knocking two birds out with one sensual stone (but don't tell him that).
7). Winter Clothes
Christmas is cold, and for most places, that means staying warm. A jacket, beanie or pair of gloves may seem simple or cliche- but a guy will be thankful to receive some clothes since no man really likes to shop, so it'll actually save him a lot of time. Designer fashion is great, but you may find that you can track down a decent beanie and pair of gloves for under $25. On the other hand, if you come across a good jacket, it might be a better idea to buy it instead. Remember to look out for that attire that will last more than one winter season.
8). Book
Depending on the kind of man you're buying a Christmas present for, a book may be a perfect gift idea. It's hard to find a book that is over $25 and there are limitless genres to choose from at your local bookstore. Also, it doesn't have to be a book made from paper- audio books are a creative alternative for a guy on the go or too busy to read. Amazon is a good web site to discover books at discounted prices.
9). DVDs
Any guy enjoys a good Seagul flick or action movie. Or maybe comedies or dramas are more appropriate. Whatever the personality, DVDs are inexpensive and plentiful this time of year. Wal-Mart especially carries DVDs for as low as a dollar a piece.
10). Puppy
Nothing can make a Christmas morning like a Puppy wrapped in a ribbon. It doesn't have to just be for kids either. Men of all ages will love to find a cute dog roaming around the Christmas tree. Adopting a puppy is also inexpensive and really helps out animal shelters that are often overloaded with animals.
No matter who they are, gifts like these can be appreciated by virtually any man. Christmas gifts are often a pain and it's no fun to buy a tie or a knit sweater. It's best to start early with browsing to find the thrifty and endearing deal to make a wonderful Christmas for any man.
