1. I Am Scrooge: A Zombie Story for Christmas, by Adam Roberts (2009)
Imagine that Ebenezer Scrooge has to battle the living dead. That's exactly what author Adam Roberts did when coming up with this hilarious take on A Christmas Carol, the classic work by Charles Dickens.
2. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Zombies: A Book of Zombie Christmas Carols, by Michael P. Spradlin (2009)
Michigan author Michael P. Spradlin rewrote traditional Christmas carols for this collection. How? By imagining how zombies would sing them. With fantastic illustrations by Jeff Weigel, this book is perfect for the zombie enthusiast.
3. The Zombie Night Before Christmas, by Clement C. Moore and H. Parker Kelley (2010)
In his wildest dreams, Clement C. Moore certainly didn't imagine this. H. Parker Kelley took Moore's time-honored classic, The Night Before Christmas, and gave it a very undead twist. In this rewrite, we find out what happens when Santa visits a house inhabited by the walking dead. This interesting work is illustrated by Dominic Mylroie.
4. The Last Christmas, by Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Rick Remender (2006)
It's Santa Claus versus the zombie hordes! Nothing is going right at the North Pole. After Mrs. Claus is killed, Santa goes on a mission. Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan wrote this graphic novel, with Rick Remender providing the illustrations.
5. The Undead that Saved Christmas, by Lyle Perez-Tinics (2010)
Lyle Perez-Tinics has put together a collection of short stories, comics, poems, and Christmas carols specifically about zombies and Christmas. As if that weren't a good enough reason for zombie lovers to indulge in this collection, there's a bonus: proceeds from the sale of this book will benefit the HUGS Foster Family Agency so that the California-based organization can buy Christmas presents for the foster children it serves.
6. Christmas Is Dead: A Zombie Anthology, by Anthony Giangregorio (2009)
Anthony Giangregorio has compiled zombie Christmas short stories written by Scott Baker, Keith Luethke, Kevin Cockle, and others for this collection. This anthology also includes one of Giangregorio's own stories.
7. Christmas Is Dead...Again, by Anthony Giangregorio (2010)
In this follow-up to the original anthology, Giangregorio includes work from Dane Hatchell, Rebecca Besser, and several others.
