I simply cant get myself motivated to get out there any earlier and fight all the crowds looking for the "perfect" gift. My solution? Shop On-line!
I started about 5 years ago as a last minute rush to get presents. I was working long hours and simply did not have the time to go out to do the shopping first hand. It started with ebay, then to some big box retail outlets and now its pretty much wherever I can find the gift! The benefits of finding gifts on-line are numerous:
1. Millions of products right at your fingerprints. I mean, everything you could possibly think of and most likely everything you would have never thought of as well! You can even find items that have been discontinued for months so you may even be able to pull off your own Christmas miracle for someone this year!
2. Most places will allow you to shop up to the 21st to ensure shipping by Christmas eve and each will offer next day or second day air to your house or the recipient of the gift to make sure your packages get to where they need to be.
3. Great deals! - There are a ton of websites that post coupons for many vendors and stores on-line. From free shipping to up to 30% off a purchase, you will save a lot more money shopping on-line. I have not paid full retail price for anything since I began shopping all of my Christmas gifts on-line 5 years ago!
4. Less stress trying to find a gift in stores that have been picked over a hundred times before you even get through the door. No more getting up at 3am on black Friday just to save $10 on that toaster either!
5. Oh yeah, you can do it in your pajamas, while you are in bed, at work, school or even with your kids in the same room!
I think everyone should give this a try, and do not be afraid of purchasing over the Internet either. I have dozens of friends who shop on-line all the time and they nor I have even heard of anyone we know getting anything stolen by shopping on the Internet.
If you are pressed for time this season and would like to save some money and headache all at once, give on-line shopping a try! But hurry, Christmas is almost here!

Post a CommentI have been a huge fan of shopping online for a while now. There are usually a few last minute things I decide to purchase in-store. But, really, the majority of what I buy is purchased earlier in the month online. I can't stand trying to compete with all the shoppers out there. :)
I did a lot of shopping this year online. Best Buy was great and I got my items a few days later!
