There's so much to do and see in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, coming up to Christmas that it'd be a shame to pass by. Many of you may not know that the town has the widest street in Ireland, so just think of the multitude of shops all conveniently situated within yards of each other. You can enjoy miles of Christmas shopping, and with a range of different stores, you are sure to find that special present for your nearest and dearest.

From Sheehy's newsagents which stocks a great variety of Irish interest books, to The Music Shop which has all the latest chart CDs, you'll find a gift no problem. All the latest fashions are featured too, in the array of men's and womenswear boutiques which line the main street. You never know, you may even be lucky enough to find that perfect outfit for that festive occasion. There are an ample amount of hairdressers and beauty salons, which you can avail of during your trip to Cookstown. Perhaps you are in need of a last-minute pedicure, or a facial or even a relaxing massage before the hustle and bustle of Christmas, then call into one of the salons where the friendly staff will be pleased to see you.
