Ingredients

Serves 4
3 1/2 cups snow peas
1 cup small mushrooms - sliced
1 cup scallions - chopped
1 cup red bell pepper - chopped
8 cloves garlic - thinly sliced
3 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup sherry - sweet cream sherry or sweet cooking wine
1/4 cup sesame seeds - raw
1 tsp black pepper

Directions for Christmas Snow Peas

Saute Scallions, Mushrooms, Red pepper and Garlic in Olive Oil
In a large skillet or frying pan, saute the scallions, mushrooms, red bell peppers and garlic in olive oil until garlic is translucent and the scallions are wilted.

Add Snow Peas and Cook 3-5 More Minutes
Add the snow peas to the pan and cook for another 3 - 5 minutes or until the snow peas are tender but still crisp. Don't overcook the snow peas.

Mix In The Sherry, Sesame Seeds and Black Pepper
Add the sherry, sesame seeds and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are combined. Cook an additional 1 minute.

Serve With Your Favorite Meat, Poultry, Fish or Vegetarian Entree
This vegetable side goes with any meat, fish or vegetarian dish.
