The first step is to cut your wood strips out to the size you want your Stained Glass Christmas window to be. You are building a simple frame, but you need two strips for each side of the frame. This will give a finished look to each side of the stained glass window.

Now, use a staple gun to assembly your frame. You can also use nails or wood screws. Assemble both frames separately.

Now, cut out your sheet of plexi glass to be the same size. Your local home important store can do this for you as well.

Now, lay the sheet of plexi glass out on a sheet of plain newsprint or sketch paper. Trace the shape. Use this scrap paper to map out your design.

Paint the stained glass image on with the paint. Once the paint dries use the peel and stick lead to outline each color, just like real stained glass.

Now, on to assembling your Christmas stained glass window.

Lay one frame face down on the table. Run a bead of epoxy glue around the frame. Press the Plexiglas into it.

Now, on the back of the plexi glass on the edge, run another bead of epoxy glue. Pres the second frame into it ot sandwich the Christmas stained glass.

Basically you are finished making yoru stained glass Christmas window.

Here are some more tips though: If you are going ot lean this Christmas sustained glass window on the fireplace mantel, then run a string of lights behind it to light it up!

If you do not like the idea of having to cut the wood trim, then skip that step. When your stained glass Christmas window is finished you can use a nice thick grosgrain ribbon to cover the rough edges.

Fold it over the rough edges of the Plexiglas and glue on the front and back!
