the star so hallowed
to visit the new born king.
The light he brought
to men distraught
from his Father above;
his gift to men on earth.
The light shines through all
from that birth in the stall,
that brought us hope, love and joy.
That Christmas star,
with light from afar,
shines from each Christian heart.
His light so bright,
gives us the might,
to spread word and deed for Him.
The promise, a gift, that Christmas night, lives still in our sight.
The light shines bright;
the love, joy and hope of peace
is ours to share
if only we dare, if only we care.
