Wrist watch
If your tween boy does not yet have one, this would be the perfect time to get him one. He is getting to the age where he needs to be more responsible with his time, and a watch would help him, to make sure he was home on time, and that he made his appointments.
Pair of movie tickets
In our town, we can purchase movie tickets at our local theater, for Christmas stocking stuffers. The date of purchase is stamped on the tickets, and the recipient has three months in which to redeem them. We always get two tickets so they can invite a friend.
Visa Gift Card
A Visa Gift Card can be used at any place of business that accepts debit cards. It is a way for him to always money on hand, should he need it. He can also go online and check the balance if he thinks he might be running low.
Music CD
All young tweens have their favorite music, just like we do. A music cd of their favorite group or music type makes a great Christmas stocking stuffer.
"Cool" t-shirt
My boys really like to have their selection of "cool" t-shirts. It's kind of like a status symbol with their peers. If you're not quite sure what might be considered "cool," just ask one of the younger sales personnel. They will be glad to help. Make sure the t-shirt is neatly folded, then roll it up and tie in the middle with a ribbon. It will fit into their Christmas stocking quite nicely.
Dollar Bills
Everybody likes to get money for a gift; including tweens. A few one dollar bills stuffed down into their Christmas stocking, and your tween will love it. It can also give them a head-start on learning to budget.
Thank-you Card
Every year, for a Christmas stocking stuffer, I like to give my kids a thank-you card with a certificate in it, giving them one day off from their chores. It can be redeemed on a day of their choice. The thank-you is from me letting them know how grateful I am to have them in my life, and the day off chores, shows my appreciation to them. I feel this is particularly important for a tween because they are at such a difficult time in their growing up years.
Gift Certificate
Tweens usually have no trouble letting you know which new game they would like for their gaming system, but if you not for sure, you can always go to Walmart, Circuit City or Radio Shack and find out the cost of the newer games; then get them a gift certificate for that amount. That way they can buy the exact one that they want.
Make sure to keep the personality of the tween boy in mind, and you will have no trouble getting really great stocking stuffers for the Tween boy's Christmas stocking.
