Christmas Tree Farms in the Indianapolis Area

Many Also Carry Holiday Wreaths, Ornaments and More

Getting a your holiday tree from a Christmas tree farm can be a wonderful way to start off the season. It can really boost your Christmas spirit, especially if there is a slight chill in the air and Santa is likely to show up ( a real possibility at many tree farms located near Indianapolis). If you're not sure about whether to choose an artificial or natural Christmas tree, it might help to learn that most artificial Christmas trees are imported primarily from China and may contain PVC, a potential source of harmful lead, according to the National Christmas Tree Association information here: http://www.christmastree.org/faketrees.cfm (the site also contains data from the Children's Health Environmental Coalition).

In contrast, spruce, pine or fir trees grown on Christmas tree farms may be much better for your family's health, both during and after the Christmas season. Besides, why pass up the chance to pick out your own tree, get it freshly cut and make a day of it, perhaps as part of a family outing to start off the Christmas season?

Those who live in or near Indianapolis can choose from a wealth of Christmas tree farms, with each offering unique and special features. Here's a quick rundown of some of the best tree farms around the Hoosier area:
