Christmas Tree Farms in Western Washington

Everyone's favorite time of the year is almost here! Time to get out your stockings and decorate your home! However before any home redecoration is complete for Christmas, your going to need a tree. The following are some tree farms in the area where you can get a Christmas tree as well as have a great day with the family in the meantime.

Riverlook Farm's Red Barn Tree Farm: As a kid my parents took me here, so my view is somewhat biased...and in a good way. Every year I always looked forward to bundling up on a cold December morning and going with my family to the Red Barn Tree Farm. We would go out and chop down our tree, then enjoy a cup or two of hot cider and a free candy cane. They do in fact have a red barn, which makes the experience much more authentic for the younger crowd. Species of trees available include Noble, Douglas-fir, Grand, Fraser, Concolor. It also features a gift shop, hay/wagon rides, fresh cut trees, as well as wreathes you can buy. If you are around the Orting area, I'd highly recommend the Red Barn Tree Farm.

Double Four Tree Farm: This tree farm is located 7 miles east of Interstate 5 on 72nd St. The species of trees available are Noble, Douglas-fir, and Grand. Features of this tree farm are saws, coffee and beverages, cutting assistance, a gift shop, as well as fresh cut trees.

Harter's U-Cut Tree Farm: Harter's is located from Highway 162 in South Prairie. Go South on Emery Ave. S, Left on SE 3rd St., right on Tubbs Rd., right on 144 St. E and then follow signs to get you there. The species of tree available at this farm include Noble, Douglas-fir, and Grand. Harter's has plenty to offer such as free candy canes, hot cider, cocoa and coffee. Younger kids will also have something to do when tree cutting is through, as Santa Clause is at Harter's every day.

Snowshoe Evergreen Choose & Cut: It is located 5 miles south of Sumner on Hwy 162 toward Orting. Located on the right side of the road. Another tree farm that is located in Orting, Snowshoe Evergreen Choose & Cut has species Noble, Douglas-fir, Grand, Fraser, Nordmann. Snowshoe has designer wreaths available, poinsettias, mistletoe, garland, fresh cut trees and tree stands available for purchase. Beverages and treats are available for purchase, however they do give away complimentary candy canes, and there is an ATM on site in case you need to withdraw some extra cash.
