Christmas Tree Pick-Up

It's still not too late to have your Christmas tree picked up by Birmingham Forestry workers. Pick-up will continue through Jan. 14.

If you want to have your tree picked up, make sure all lights and ornaments have been removed and the tree stand has been taken off. This is necessary because the trees are ground into wood chips and must be free of extraneous material for this to occur.

You should also be aware that the tree may not be picked up the same day as your regular trash pick-up. But it will be removed if it is placed outside on the curb. You can get more information on Christmas tree pick-up by calling 248-530-1700.
