Christmas White: A Christmas Poem

Poem About a White Christmas

Bridgitte Williams

Once upon a Christmas white.

My eyes danced about in sheer delight.

Snow gathering around us like cherished friends.

A fantastic feast for all of the senses.

Magical pale beautiful glow.

Nature's alabaster yearly artistic show.

Pure brilliance spread far and wide.

Once upon a Christmas white.

Ready for snowmen, sleds and snowballs galore.

The adults sigh and the children cry for more!

We skate upon the iced over lake and stare.

Warm hot chocolate dreams we share.

The fireplace is merrily lit and burns warm and bright.

Waiting for us to all come inside.

We leave the bright starry yuletide night.

Once upon a Christmas white.

Singing carols and laughing.

Enjoying the fire's roaring and crackling.

We join hands and pray.

Celebrating Jesus and his blessed birthday.

The night before Christmas was read aloud and we sigh.

Once upon a Christmas white.

We tuck one another in and cherish the love.

This is what grace, hope and glory are all made of.

We know we are blessed and filled with holy light.

Every heart and soul at peace and right.

I have never seen such a magnificent and shining sight.

Once upon a Christmas white.

Merry Christmas!
