Should children receive every Christmas gift on their wish list? Depends on who you ask, some people will say yes some no. Parenting during Christmas can be a struggle when it comes to this question. This one question brings up other questions. Such as, has your child been good all year or if I give my child all the Christmas gifts on the wish list, is that spoiling my child?

Here is an answer everyone can live with, Christmas is once a year and children deserve what they want on that one special day. If finances allow you to purchase gifts from the child's wish list, it will be worth the smile on their faces when they open them Christmas morning. Although buying what they want does not mean you leave off what they need. Gifts such as clothing, shoes and favorite candy can be the simple Christmas gifts given to children.

Some parents think giving their children the Christmas gifts from their wish list is spoiling. This is not true; it is loving your child and giving them what they want one day out of the year. Parenting does not mean giving children what you think they deserve. It means giving them the gifts for Christmas that mean the most to your child. Children deserve to have their favorite game, toy, 4-wheeler and other items on their wish list.

Children put things on their wish list that they want most. Set a limit for items your child puts on the Christmas wish list let's say 20 gifts. Tell your child to write down the most important to least important. Out of the 20 gifts, you can buy 15 most important ones they want. Then give the gifts they need along with what they really wanted for Christmas.

Giving what your children want for Christmas is a rewarding feeling that makes parenting fun and exciting. For children waking up Christmas morning and opening Christmas presents and finding exactly what you asked for is exciting.

Frankly the answer to the question should children receive every Christmas gift on their wish list is yes, they should. Do not feel bad giving the gifts children ask for, it shows you love and care about their wishes.

Make this years Christmas wish list come true for your children. Do not be stingy or think its spoiling your child. Santa might just leave you a lump of coal in your stocking.

Merry Christmas
