Christmastime

Lights and decorations fill shelves,
sometimes before Halloweeen.
So many things on sale at so many
stores. Holiday music ranging from
heartfelt to silly all over the radio.

Christmas can be a time of spending
too much money, getting annoyed
by crowds, and struggling to find
parking spaces or the right gift.

Christmas is also a chance to spend
time with family and friends and
remember loved ones who are
no longer with us. And to think of
those less fortunate than ourselves.

The more important Christmas gifts
are the love and friendship
from the people who care about us.
