Loss of Chrysler Dealerships will make service harder to obtain
For many of Virginia's residents, finding a new Chrysler dealership for service may be difficult. In visiting the Chrysler site and inputting my zip code, I was shocked to find that many of those dealerships making the Chrysler dealership closure lists were recommended to me in the dealership finder. Of the first 10 results, four were located across the river in Maryland, four were on the closure list. Only one of the two left were local, with the other being more than 40 miles away. Expanding my search further resulted in more on the closure list, mainly the Chrysler dealerships slated for closure in Northern Virginia. Rural Virginians will likely have to travel much further to obtain service or perhaps be forced to wait longer for an appointment as Chrysler owners struggle to find a dealership that is convenient to work or home.

It's only gonna get worse. I think it shows that the big companies don't have enough faith in Obama's tactics to wait out the storm.
We have a couple closing around us also. I live near the Chrysler plant in St. Louis and the layoffs are bad.
Scary times.
yikes, great research on this!
