Chuck Norris... Man of Legend

Chuck Norris has to be one of the greatest men to ever live. Everyone knows who he is. Most people know about the Chuck Norris facts. If you are not sure what I am talking about, let me fill you in on one of the best things ever to grace the internet. By the way, I am not talking about a bulleted biography that lists actual facts about him.

No, what I am referring to is much more entertaining. You see, throughout Chuck's career as an actor, he was portrayed as invincible and he would always win in the end. Well, I know what you are thinking, "Most actors are portrayed in this manner in action films, what makes him so special?" To be honest, I am not sure myself. It could be his smooth beard. It could be his demeanor.

Around 2005, maybe a little earlier, someone started making up jokes about Chuck. Conan O'Brien made some jokes on his show about Walker, Texas Ranger which added momentum. These jokes are known as Chuck Norris Facts, and they always exaggerate his actual capabilities. His signature roundhouse kick is mentioned in numerous facts. Chuck joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958. He was stationed in Korea where he learned martial arts. In 1972 he played Bruce Lee's enemy in Return of the Dragon.
