Justin Bieber, a Canadian who is 15 years old, is one of the most popular teen idols. He was discovered on Utube and just released his first album, My World, in November 2009. He has already become popular enough to have a long list of credits. He was presenter at the 2010 Grammy Awards and was involved in the Super Bowl Week-end activities. He also was one of the 74 who resurrected We Are The World for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
Justin Bieber is apparently a Chuck Norris fan. He has not only been tweeting some of those famous Chuck Norris "can do anything" sayings, he has even photo-shopped his image kneeling in front of Chuck Norris' Walker Texas Ranger character with the caption, "Buy 'Baby' ... Chuck Norris says you should!" Baby, which was released January 18 is the lead single of Justin Bieber's My World 2.0 to be released March 2010.
Chuck Norris is taking a light-hearted look at the fun Justin Bieber is having with his persona and the many blogs and columns with title asking if they have teamed up or if Justin Bieber is in danger. Chuck is sending Justin a copy of his new book, The Official Chuck Norris Fact Book, He is taking a more serious look at the the danger that Americans in Justin Bieber's generation face because of Washington's spending habits and the vote just last week to borrow another $1.9 trillion! He quotes Obama's statement last week,"We simply cannot continue to spend as if deficits don't have consequences, as if waste doesn't matter, as if the hard-earned tax dollars of the American people can be treated like 'Monopoly' money", and then Chuck wonders out loud if Obama was talking to himself or congress.
Chuck Norris jokingly says that Justin Bieber has a higher approval rate that President Obama-so maybe he should run for president. Chuck knows it takes more than a high approval rate to be a great president-it would just help if we had a president and enough people in congress with as much sense about our economy as Chuck Norris.

Interesting, but Associated Content has the font so small on here that I can hardly read it.
Justin is a cutie... :)
I enjoyed this article. Popularity does not mean common sense. I vote we go start going with common sense.
I'm headed to the Chuck Norris link. Thanks. I agree, being popular and being the right candidate are not mutually exclusive. Well written & great food for thought.
