Dinner is served at Chuck's Steak House daily between 4:45 and 10 o'clock p.m. Regardless of when you arrive, you will be treated to a magnificent open-air table, looking out onto one of Ko Olina's four marvelous man-made lagoons.
Start with one of Chuck's signature tropical drinks, like the Mai Tai or Zombie. They are strong, delicious, and appropriate given the view. All entrees at Chuck's Steak House include a trip to Chuck's salad bar, where you can put together a large fresh salad that could very well serve as a meal. But you'll want to save room for Chuck's pupus and starters, including his Honolulu Hot Wings, Black and Blue Ahi, Sashimi, Fish and Chips, or Shrimp Cocktail. Pupus and starters range from $7.95 to $12.95, and are well worth the price.
As an entree, you can choose from one of Chuck's famous steak or seafood dishes. Or, if you can't quite decide, you can select a combo. Chuck's steaks include Sirloin (Regular, Petite, or Teriyaki), New York Striploin, and Filet. Steaks range in price from $22.25 to $34.75. Seafood dishes include Fresh Fish, Lobster Tail, Shrimp Scampi, Scallops, Breaded and Golden Fried Shrimp, or Chuck's fabulous Seafood Platter. If you're not a fan of steak or seafood, not to worry. You can also choose from Teriyaki Chicken, Lamb Chops, Beef Kabob, or a Hawaiian Stir Fry.
With each dish, you will have your choice of a Baked Potato, Rice or French Fries. If you can eat anymore after your generously sized entree, you'll have to try one of Chuck's special desserts, which, by the way, are large enough to share. Chuck's Mud Pie, Brownie Ala Mode, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cheesecake, Mango Berry Cobbler, Tropical Sorbet, and Macadamia Nut Ice Cream will all vie for your attention.
Chuck's Steak House at the Marriott Beach Club in Ko Olina can be a bit pricey - plan on spending about $150 for a party of two - but it's an experience you won't want to miss during your stay on the island of Oahu. Time it right, and you may catch an unforgettable island sunset.
