Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleader Tryouts

The Cincinnati Bengals have announced the tryout schedule for the 2008 Cincinnati Ben-Gals. The Ben-Gals are the cheerleaders for Cincinnati's NFL team, the Cincinnati Bengals. The Ben-Gals have some of the strictest requirements for being a member of their cheerleading squad in the National Football League in terms of age and location.

Age Requirement: To be a member of the 2008 Cincinnati Ben-Gals you must be at least 21 years of age as of September 1st in 2008.

Education Requirement: To be a member of the 2008 Cincinnati Ben-Gals you must either be a full-time student, or you must be employed to be a member of the Ben-Gal Squad.

Location Requirement: To be a member of the 2008 Cincinnati Ben-Gals it is a requirement that you are living within a 50 mile radius of the city of Cincinnati itself. This is done to ensure team spirit and reliability of the members of the 2008 Cincinnati Ben-Gals squad.

Schedule: If you become a member of the Cincinnati Ben-Gals squad you must be available for practices on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 pm until 9:30 pm.

All tryouts will take place at The Cincinnati Bengals Stadium and you are required to show up on time. The application deadline has been extended to allow you to bring your application with you to the next and final preliminary trying on May 4th at noon. You must bring your driver's license and a head shot photo of yourself. The photo will not be returned.

Attire for tryouts: This is listed on the application, you should wear spandex shorts and a spandex sports bra. Along with these you should wear white soled tennis shoes (black soles are not permitted), along with small ankle golf socks. The application emphasizes the need for you to come to the tryouts looking your best. The application to be a member of the 2008 Cincinnati Ben-Gals mentions that glamour will be a key factor in the decision process and that you should arrive with your hair and makeup looking your best that day.

If you advance past the preliminary tryouts on May 4th, the semifinals will be held on May 11th at 10 am at the Bengals Stadium. The finals will be held on May 17th and you will be informed of the time if you advance to the finals. The application indicates that family members and friends are not permitted at the tryouts to support you.
